Rooted in the local and sustainable
We recommend service providers who are themselves committed to eco-responsible practices. We also prioritize local partners to minimize our environmental impact (carbon footprint).
Preserved biodiversity
We have created an ecological pond to promote biodiversity on the property and we host beehives. You will therefore be able to taste our ultra-local honey!
Eco-friendly mowing
We practice eco-grazing and have expanded our flock with 10 sheep. It’s very practical and very pleasant. The sheep eat the grass and cut it at a regular height (6 to 8 cm).
Green digital presence
Our environmental impact is also managed digitally, as we offer an “eco-friendly” website (green web hosting), we use durable and/or second-hand electronic equipment (refurbished by social enterprises), and we promote responsible communication.
Waste reduction
We carry out selective sorting, use a composter and provide dry toilets for all your events (in addition to standard toilets).
Responsible maintenance
All surfaces are cleaned with white stone (natural, biodegradable components), vinegar, and baking soda. In addition, the use of a steam cleaner is preferred as it has the advantage of cleaning from floor to ceiling without the use of harsh chemicals.
Our bed linen and towels are provided by a social enterprise.
Controlled energy
Wood pellet heating : a healthy and environmentally friendly solution using a renewable energy source with low CO2 emissions. We offer moderate bedroom temperatures as recommended by ADEME: 19°C during the day and 17°C at night.
LED lighting : all our bulbs are LEDs. They consume little energy and have a longer lifespan than standard bulbs.
Dual water system : The property is supplied by a dual water system, with all toilets using rainwater harvested from the ground. This system allows us to conserve our drinking water supply.
Renewable energy : we use solar panels to power the electrical equipment at your events.
