histoire

A unique story

1933 : the Pré-Jeantet colony opens its doors to children from modest urban backgrounds.

1939-1945 : During the dark period of the Occupation, Pré-Jeantet played a crucial role by sheltering Jewish children. The colony became a haven of peace and protection from the horrors of war.

1950 : Georges Blanc, the famous Michelin-starred chef from the Ain region, enjoys wonderful summers at the summer camp

2000 : After decades of operation, the colony closes its doors.

2018: After almost 20 years without activity, a new chapter begins! We are buying back the estate to undertake its renovation.

2024-2025 : It’s finally here, it’s had a makeover! Months of work, a complete upgrade to current standards, and always with the same idea in mind: to respect the spirit of the place. Pré-Jeantet is once again a space for sharing, conviviality, and celebration. A place to celebrate, reconnect, and create memories… together.

Today, it’s a story that is being written with you every day.
